About the Journal

Pakistan Annals of Medical Sciences (PAMS) is a CMH Kharian Medical College journal. PAMS is a peer reviewed, open access journal. Journal is multidisciplinary, it covers basics and clinical science domains (Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Hematology, Neurology, Physical Medicine & rehabilitation, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Pediatrics, Infectious Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Oncology, Sleep Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery and Allied, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Gynecology and Obstetrics). PAMS publishes Narrative reviews, systematic reviews, Original articles, case reports, editorials and letter to the editors. All articles are published after peer review process outlined in the review policy of PAMS.

PAMS is a new addition in the field of journalism in Pakistan, and the Editorial staff will make sure to abide by the good ethical practice in medical journalism clearly outlined in the journal policy in accordance with the ICMJE & COPE recommendations. PAMS follows the editorial policies of International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and Pakistan Association of Medical Editors (PAME),clearly outlined in the journal policy.

PAMS motto is “Altapete” and to be among the impact factor journals of Pakistan.

PAMS is an open access journal published in print and online, all content will be freely available to the user or his/her institution.
